timeline

born 1985

As soon as Léa Brassy rode her first wave at age 11, she was hooked. She went off to surf school in northern France at the age of 14 and has been chasing waves around the globe ever since ~ from the deep Pacific to the Arctic Circle. An advocate for going slow + living light, Léa has called an old van and a boat home for most of her adult life.

Today, the trained nurse is sharing her passion for outdoor adventures and living close to nature through stories, short films + her very own site ~ Simple Voyage. Her message to the world? "Simplicity is key to freedom."
